Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb large shrimp, deveined and peeled
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine panko breadcrumbs and salt in a bowl. Dip each shrimp in mayonnaise, letting any excess drip off, then coat with panko and arrange on the baking sheet.
- In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and garlic powder to make the bang bang sauce.
- Bake the shrimp for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
- Before serving, drizzle the baked shrimp with the bang bang sauce.
Notes
Adjust the spiciness of the bang bang sauce by adding more or less sriracha to taste.
Replace shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different twist.
Use fresh lemon juice instead of rice vinegar for a zesty kick.
