- 1 1/2 ounces añejo tequila
- 1 1/2 ounces homemade sweet and sour mix

- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 5 – 7 small limes)
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 medium lemons)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar to create a sugar syrup. Simmer until the sugar is dissolved, then allow it to cool.
- Once cooled, mix in fresh lime and lemon juice to the syrup to prepare sweet and sour mix.
- Prepare the glass by wetting the rim with lime and dipping it in kosher salt; fill the glass with ice.
- In a shaker, combine the tequila, sweet and sour mix, and orange liqueur with some ice. Shake well until chilled.
- Strain the drink into the prepared glass over the ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
