- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 20 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In the slow cooker, add the ground beef, diced onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, half of the crumbled bacon, and the drained diced tomatoes.
- Pour in the beef broth, tomato sauce, and mustard, then stir to combine well.
- Cover and cook on low for approximately 3 hours.
- Add the cheese tortellini, ensuring they're mostly submerged.
- Continue cooking for another 30–40 minutes until the tortellini are tender.
- Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts into the sauce, creating a creamy texture.
- Top with the remaining bacon and allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving to thicken the sauce.
