Description

Crockpot Teriyaki Steak Bites feature tender sirloin and tangy pineapple in an easy-to-make sauce. Perfect for a quick dinner or weeknight comfort food!


Ingredients

  • pounds sirloin steak (cut into bite-size pieces)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (drained)
  • ¾ cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Scallions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak pieces until lightly browned.
  3. Transfer the steak to a slow cooker and add the pineapple chunks.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and cornstarch.
  5. Pour the sauce over the steak and give everything a stir.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours until the steak is tender.
  7. Stir the sauce before serving for an even coating.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak bites in the teriyaki sauce for a few hours before cooking.
Serve with rice or noodles to soak up the delicious sauce.
Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for added nutrition.
