Description

This easy guacamole is a must-try for food lovers. Made with fresh avocados, zesty lime juice, and spices, it’s the perfect blend of flavor and simplicity. Ideal for quick meals or gatherings, serve it with chips or tacos for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium avocados
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 small tomatoes deseeded and diced

Instructions

  1. Slice the avocados lengthwise, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Gently mash the avocado using a potato masher or fork, keeping it slightly chunky.
  3. Mix in cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, ½ teaspoon salt, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon lime juice.
  4. For smoother guacamole, continue mashing to combine the spices well; for chunkier, stir using a rubber spatula.
  5. Fold in the chopped cilantro and diced tomatoes until evenly mixed.
  6. Taste the guacamole and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.
  7. Allow the guacamole to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes prior to serving.
  8. If making ahead, store in the fridge, placing a pit in the center, adding lime juice to the top, and covering tightly with plastic wrap to prevent browning.
  9. Serve either at room temperature or chilled.

Notes

Adjust salt and lime juice according to your taste preference.
For freshness, consume the guacamole within 24 hours.
This recipe is easily customizable with additional ingredients like jalapeños or corn.
