Description

Enjoy the rich, floral taste of this Easy Sakura Latte featuring matcha powder and cherry blossom syrup. It’s a delightful and quick beverage perfect for any occasion, with simple preparation that brings a touch of elegance to your day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk (240 grams)
  • 4 teaspoons cherry blossom syrup
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ¼ cup cream, optional (60 grams)

Instructions

  • Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl using a fine mesh sieve.
  • Pour ¼ cup of hot water over the matcha and whisk until foamy.
  • Add the remaining hot water and mix gently to combine.
  • In a separate jug, combine the milk and cherry blossom syrup, and mix well.
  • Fill two large serving glasses halfway with ice cubes and pour the sakura milk into each glass.
  • Carefully pour the matcha tea on top, pouring slowly to keep the layers separate.
  • If desired, top with a bit of cream before serving.

Notes

Ensure the water temperature is around 170°F (80°C) for optimal matcha mixing.
For a more indulgent drink, use full-fat milk or add whipped cream on top.
