- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper or chili powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13-inch pan with foil and cooking spray.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine baking chocolate and butter. Heat on HIGH for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Mix in sugar.
- Incorporate eggs, vanilla, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, ¾ teaspoon of cayenne pepper, salt, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, stirring well.
- Carefully fold in the flour and then add mini chocolate chips.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Check with a toothpick for a few crumbs before removing. Let cool completely before cutting.
- For the topping, whisk together powdered sugar, ¼ teaspoon of cocoa powder, ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of cayenne pepper, then sprinkle over the sliced brownies.
