- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 1/4 cup dairy free chocolate chips
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup almond flour, sifted
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Melt the coconut oil and chocolate chips in a saucepan, stirring frequently until smooth; set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and coconut sugar for at least 45 seconds to create a crackly top.
- Gently fold in the sifted almond flour and salt by hand to avoid over-mixing the batter.
- Pour in the melted chocolate mixture and stir gently until combined.
- Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper or use nonstick spray; pour the batter into the pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting and serving.
Notes
For best results, mix the egg and sugar thoroughly to achieve the signature crackly top.
Make sure to sift the almond flour for a finer texture in your brownies.
