- sprinkles optional
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter, then add the marshmallows and lower the heat.
- Stir constantly to prevent sticking until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and pour in the Rice Krispies, stirring quickly until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the lined pan and press evenly down. Use butter or spray on your hands or parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Allow to cool in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes then cut into desired individual pieces.
- Melt white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl in either a microwave or over a double boiler, adding food coloring gradually until achieving the desired hue.
- Allow the chocolate to cool slightly before transferring to a piping bag; cut a small hole in the tip.
- Drizzle chocolate back and forth over the treats and add sprinkles if desired.
Notes
Make sure the butter is unsalted for best flavor.
To avoid sticking, consider lightly greasing your hands or the tools you use.
Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
