This Slow Cooker Baileys Irish Cream Hot Chocolate is the ultimate comfort drink. With rich chocolate, creamy Baileys, and a touch of cocoa, it’s perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.

- 8 oz. ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1 cup baileys® irish cream
- marshmallows or whipped cream
Instructions
- Break up the chocolate squares and place them in the slow cooker. Add all other ingredients except for the Baileys.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to blend the flavors.
- Once the mixture is hot, stir in the Baileys Irish Cream.
- Set out mugs, whipped cream, and a bowl of marshmallows for guests to help themselves.
- Switch the slow cooker to warm for your event. It can stay warm for up to 3 hours; just stir occasionally.
Notes
Feel free to customize the toppings with crushed candy canes or flavored syrups for extra fun.
For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the Baileys Irish Cream.
