Description

This Slow Cooker Pulled Pork delivers irresistible flavor and is incredibly simple to prepare. With just six key ingredients including tender pork shoulder and aromatic spices, it’s the perfect choice for a quick dinner or comforting gathering.


Ingredients

  • pounds pork shoulder
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 orange, juiced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, prepare the spice rub by mixing paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and cumin.
  2. Generously rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker, then add diced onion, chopped garlic, and orange juice on top.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours until the pork shreds easily with two forks.
  5. Once cooked, transfer the pork to a cutting board to shred and return it to the juices in the slow cooker to remain moist and flavorful.
