Description

These Valentine Chocolate Covered Pretzels are a delightful blend of crunchy and sweet. Simple to make and perfect for kids, they feature semi-sweet chocolate and colorful sprinkles, making them an adorable treat for celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces (226g) semi-sweet or white chocolate (two 4-ounce bars), finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil
  • 4 cups pretzels
  • optional: sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  • Prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Melt the chocolate and oil together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
  • Dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate, use a fork to lift it, let excess chocolate drip off, then transfer to the lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with toppings before chocolate sets.
  • Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until chocolate hardens. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Using a glass measuring cup makes dipping pretzels easier.
If chocolate hardens, reheat gently before drizzling. You can use a squeeze bottle for precise drizzling.
