Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces (226g) semi-sweet or white chocolate (two 4-ounce bars), finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil
- 4 cups pretzels
- optional: sprinkles for topping
Instructions
- Prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate and oil together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate, use a fork to lift it, let excess chocolate drip off, then transfer to the lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with toppings before chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until chocolate hardens. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Using a glass measuring cup makes dipping pretzels easier.
If chocolate hardens, reheat gently before drizzling. You can use a squeeze bottle for precise drizzling.
