Description

These Valentine’s Day Truffles combine the creamy delight of cream cheese with the crunch of vanilla Oreos, all enrobed in luscious white chocolate. Simple to make, they are ideal for celebrating love and sharing joy with your loved ones!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 vanilla oreos about 15 ounces
  • 1 8- ounce block cream cheese softened
  • 1416 ounces white chocolate melts *see notes
  • red oil-based food coloring optional (or powdered)
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Prepare a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and set aside in the freezer or fridge.
  • Crush the Oreos in a food processor until they form fine crumbs.
  • Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a mixing bowl and combine with softened cream cheese. Mixing with hands helps achieve the best consistency.
  • Using a 1.5-tablespoon cookie scoop, form truffles and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Roll them into smooth balls, then chill in the freezer for 30 minutes or in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals while stirring in between or use a double boiler method for gentle melting.
  • Optionally, add red food coloring once the chocolate is fully melted to achieve the desired color.
  • Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate using a fork, ensuring they are fully coated. Let excess chocolate drip off before placing them on the sheet.
  • If you want to add a chocolate drizzle, chill the truffles for about 10 minutes before decorating them as desired.
  • Sprinkle on decorations while the chocolate is wet, or add drizzle immediately after. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature for 2 hours.

Notes

For best results, ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
Feel free to customize your truffles with different colored sprinkles for a festive touch.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
