Description

This Air Fryer Grilled Cheese is a must-try for a quick dinner! With fluffy bread and gooey cheese, it’s perfect for comfort food or a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter or mayo
  • 23 slices cheese (sharp cheddar, American, provolone, Swiss, gouda, or a combo)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread. Layer cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice, keeping it away from the edges. Top with the second slice, butter-side up, and press together gently. Insert a toothpick through the center to secure the sandwich.
  3. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry at 370°F for 4–5 minutes. Flip the sandwich and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from the air fryer, discard the toothpick, slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different types of bread and cheese for unique flavors.
Keep an eye on the cooking time as it may vary based on the bread type and thickness.
