Description

These Baked Peaches are a quick and delicious dessert featuring ripe peaches, butter, cinnamon, and a drizzle of maple syrup. Perfect warm or with ice cream!


Ingredients

  • 4 peaches ripe but firm, halved and pitted
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into small cubes
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar light or dark
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Splash of bourbon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly butter a small baking dish large enough to hold the peaches snugly.
  2. Place the peach halves cut-side up in the baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches evenly.
  4. Dot each peach half with the butter, then drizzle vanilla, lemon juice, and bourbon over them.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture on top of the peaches.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the peaches are fork-tender and the tops are lightly caramelized.
  7. Serve warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Ensure that the peaches are ripe but firm for the best results.
You can add nuts or oats on top for added texture and flavor.
Pair with whipped cream for an extra treat!
