Description

Enjoy BBQ Ribs that are full of flavor and easy to prepare. This simple recipe features tender ribs coated in a delicious rub, perfect for family gatherings or a comforting weekend meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs baby back ribs or st. louis ribs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon korean chili flakes or ¼ teaspoon cayenne

Instructions

  1. Combine all the rub ingredients in a mixing bowl. If the brown sugar has clumps, break them apart with your fingers.
  2. Set the rub aside for at least 30 minutes before using.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, let the rub sit on the ribs for a few hours before cooking.
Adjust the spice levels by adding more or less chili flakes to suit your taste.
