This Berry Trifle combines layers of rich whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and blueberries for a delightful treat. Its easy preparation makes it perfect for gatherings or a sweet indulgence at home.

- 3 cups whipping cream
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 angel food cake (or pound cake, 10 to 12 ounces)
- 2 pounds strawberries
- 1 pint blueberries
- 3 tablespoons seedless strawberry jam
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey (or sugar)
- ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together the strawberry jam, lemon juice, and honey in a small bowl until well combined.
- In a large bowl, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Cut the angel food cake into cubes.
- Layer the cake cubes in a trifle dish, followed by layers of whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries, repeating the layers until all ingredients are used.
- Top with remaining whipped cream and garnish with a few whole berries for decoration.
Notes
For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of whipping cream.
