Description

These Caramel Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful mix of gooey caramel and crispy rice cereal, creating a sweet treat that’s easy to prepare and perfect for sharing with friends and family.


Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, Unwrapped
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 7 1/2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Unwrap caramels and set aside 10 pieces.
  3. Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat and remove from the heat once melted.
  5. Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows until almost combined.
  6. Mix in Rice Krispies and fold in remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows until well combined.
  7. Gently press this mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Melt the remaining 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the melted caramels all over the top of the treats.
  10. Let cool and cut into squares.

Notes

Use different flavored marshmallows for a unique twist.
Make sure to use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
