- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter softened (added after kneading)
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup cookie butter Biscoff-style
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup finely crushed Biscoff cookies
- 1 cup cookie butter
- 1 cup heavy cream warmed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Crushed Biscoff cookies
- Flaky sea salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, whisk together the flour and milk until smooth.
- Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until thickened into a paste, about 2–4 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool to room temperature.
Notes
Ensure the milk is warmed to the right temperature (100–110°F) for proper yeast activation.
Using room temperature eggs helps the dough rise better for fluffy rolls.
Feel free to top with additional crushed Biscoff cookies for extra flavor.
