Description

Crock Pot BBQ Chicken is a delightful dish featuring tender shredded chicken coated in a savory BBQ sauce, complemented by the perfect hint of ranch. This easy recipe is great for a quick family dinner or a comforting meal anytime.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup bbq sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning on both sides of the chicken. Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken to ensure it's covered.
  3. Cover the crockpot and cook on high for 2.5 to 3 hours or on low for 3.5 to 4 hours. Cooking times may vary based on the slow cooker size and chicken thickness.
  4. Once the chicken is fully cooked, shred it with forks and stir into the BBQ sauce mixture. Serve warm.

Notes

For a zesty twist, add some chopped onions or pepper to the crockpot.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Serve on buns for a delicious BBQ sandwich option.
