- 4 full-size corn on the cob (ears) – with or without husk
- ¼ tsp oil if using a griddle pan, otherwise optional
- 30 g butter or dairy free alternative plain/herb/garlic/chilli/dulse/etc
- seasoning salt/pepper/herbs/chilli flakes/etc
Instructions
- Prepare all butters and seasonings ahead of time.
- If the corn has a husk, peel it back and remove all silk and tassels to expose the kernels.
- Preheat the BBQ, grill, or griddle pan to high heat.
- For griddle pan, lightly brush with oil; for BBQ or grill, brushing oil is optional.
- Place the corn on the BBQ grill, under the kitchen grill, or in the griddle pan.
- Check and turn frequently for 8 to 10 minutes until deep yellow color, juicy, with slight charring.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately with butter and seasoning.
Notes
You can customize the butter with herbs or spices you like for more flavor.
Make sure not to overcook the corn to keep it juicy and tender.
