Description

Marry Me Chicken Sliders are a delightful combination of flavors featuring rotisserie chicken, creamy parmesan, and sun-dried tomatoes. This easy, mouthwatering recipe is perfect for quick dinners or family gatherings, providing comfort food that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, soaked in hot water, drained, & chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 package king’s hawaiian sweet rolls
  • ½ cup fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 7×11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, grated parmesan cheese, and shredded rotisserie chicken to the bowl and mix well.
  4. Remove the king's hawaiian sweet rolls from the package and slice them in half horizontally.
  5. On the bottom half of the rolls, layer the spinach and then pour the chicken mixture evenly on top.
  6. Sprinkle the monterey jack cheese over the chicken mixture before placing the top half of the rolls back on.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic and pour it over the top of the rolls.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top for garnish and cover with aluminum foil.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the rotisserie chicken with grilled chicken for a lighter option.
Add some jalapeños or other spices to kick up the heat if desired.
You can prepare the chicken mixture a day in advance and assemble just before baking.
