- 2 cups fresh peaches
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Peel, pit, and slice enough peaches to make 2 cups. Transfer them to a food processor. Add lemon juice and blend until pureed.
- Add sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt to the peach puree. Blend until well mixed. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form (this takes about 5 minutes).
- Gently fold the peach puree mixture into the whipped cream until fully combined.
- If desired, peel, pit, and slice additional peaches to layer with the ice cream mixture.
- In a large loaf pan, layer the ice cream mixture with peach slices, alternating layers, starting with ice cream at the bottom.
- Cover and freeze overnight.
Notes
Use ripe, fresh peaches for the best flavor.
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sweetened condensed milk.
This ice cream can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
