Description

This Pan Pizza features a crispy crust topped with rich pizza sauce, gooey mozzarella, and savory pepperoni. It’s a delightful, easy-to-make meal that brings comfort and flavor to your table!


Ingredients

  • 1 (10 to 12 ounce) ball pizza dough
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ⅓ cup pizza sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup pepperoni slices
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Pour 1½ tablespoons of olive oil into a 10-inch cast-iron skillet, swirling it around to coat the sides.
  2. Roll or stretch the pizza dough into a 10-inch circle and place it in the oiled skillet.
  3. Preheat your oven to 475℉.
  4. Let the dough rest in a warm area for 30 minutes, like near the preheating oven.
  5. Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a ¼-inch border. Add mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake the pizza for 15 to 20 minutes, until the crust is crisp.

Notes

Allowing the dough to rest helps achieve a better texture.
For a crunchier crust, use a preheated skillet.
