Description

Enjoy a slice of this delightful peach cobbler, featuring fresh peaches mixed with just the right amount of sugar and topped with a buttery crust. It’s an easy and comforting dessert that’s perfect for family gatherings or a cozy night in!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the peach slices, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until the sugar melts and mixture is warm.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the baking dish without stirring it in.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour this mixture over the butter in the baking dish, without stirring.
  5. Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter, adding some juice as well. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 38-42 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
  7. Let it cool slightly, then serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Use fresh peaches for the best flavor, but you can substitute with canned if necessary.
This dessert is best served warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
