Description

This Peach Preserves recipe brings a burst of irresistible flavor to your kitchen. With just four simple ingredients, you’ll create a homemade delight that perfectly captures the essence of summer. Ideal for spreading on toast or adding to desserts, it’s a quick and easy treat everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 peaches, diced into 2” cubes
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ½ lemon, zest

Instructions

  1. Combine diced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a large saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture until it reaches a rapid boil, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes as it thickens. Use a wooden spoon to help break down the peaches.
  3. Once the mixture has thickened to the point where it clings to the back of a spoon, remove from heat.
  4. Carefully pour the preserves into a clean glass jar or smaller jars with sealed lids and refrigerate. Store for up to 2 months.

Notes

Ensure to use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months, but check for quality before using.
This preserves can be used on toast, in yogurt, or as a topping for desserts.
