Description

This Steak Marinade delivers an irresistible flavor with simple prep. Featuring olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh herbs, it’s perfect for a quick dinner or a sumptuously grilled meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ cup olive oil or light flavored oil
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme or ¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 clove garlic minced or more to taste

Instructions

  1. In a glass bowl or freezer bag, mix olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, parsley, rosemary, pepper, thyme, and garlic together.
  2. Add up to 2 pounds of steak into the marinade and let it sit for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  3. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the leftover mixture.
  4. Grill or broil the steak to your desired doneness.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate the steak up to 4 hours.
Feel free to add your favorite herbs or spices to customize the marinade.
Using a freezer bag makes it easy to mix and coat the steak thoroughly.
