Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 20 golden oreos, about 1/2 package
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 4 tbsp strawberry jello gelatin, remaining
  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jello gelatin

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8 x 8 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, make the brownie layer by mixing together the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and strawberry gelatin.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  4. For the cheesecake layer, beat the softened cream cheese, softened butter, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and heavy whipping cream, mixing until fluffy.
  5. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the cooled brownie layer.
  6. In a food processor, pulse the Oreos until they are in small pieces, leaving some larger chunks.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining strawberry gelatin over the Oreo crumbs and drizzle with melted butter. Pulse until well combined.
  8. Sprinkle the Oreo mixture over the cheesecake layer and gently press down.

Notes

For added flavor, use fresh strawberries as a topping.
Ensure the cream cheese is softened to make mixing easier.
These brownies can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
