- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 20 golden oreos, about 1/2 package
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 4 tbsp strawberry jello gelatin, remaining
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp strawberry jello gelatin
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8 x 8 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
- In a large bowl, make the brownie layer by mixing together the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and strawberry gelatin.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
- For the cheesecake layer, beat the softened cream cheese, softened butter, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and heavy whipping cream, mixing until fluffy.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the cooled brownie layer.
- In a food processor, pulse the Oreos until they are in small pieces, leaving some larger chunks.
- Sprinkle the remaining strawberry gelatin over the Oreo crumbs and drizzle with melted butter. Pulse until well combined.
- Sprinkle the Oreo mixture over the cheesecake layer and gently press down.
Notes
For added flavor, use fresh strawberries as a topping.
Ensure the cream cheese is softened to make mixing easier.
