- 1 (10 oz) angel food cake
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8 oz) container cool whip (thawed)
- fresh strawberries, optional
Instructions
- Cut the angel food cake into cubes and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the instant vanilla pudding mix, whole milk, and heavy cream on low speed, gradually increasing the speed for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Arrange half of the angel food cake cubes evenly at the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan.
- Dollop about 2/3 of the strawberry pie filling over the angel food cake cubes.
- Spread the vanilla pudding mixture evenly over the filling.
- Top with the remaining strawberry pie filling over the cake cubes.
- Spread the thawed Cool Whip on top evenly.
- Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
- Optional: Garnish with fresh strawberries.
